Friday- Country Music Hoedown

Tucker Lane

Leslie Stanwyck and Johnny Sinclair were “one twang away from a country song,” their manager used to say. The pair made two albums with pop-rock legends The Pursuit of Happiness and another seven with Universal Honey, then after relocating to Saskatoon, SK. found themselves adding that twang to their new band, Tucker Lane. Tucker Lane’s debut album, West of Minnesota, North of North Dakota — produced by the band —  is chock full of upbeat country-pop, with some edgier Stones-style rockers.  The debut CD is currently available online at all digital retailers for download and streaming. Cds are available at the Vinyl Diner and Krazy Kileys.

League of Wolves

They started as small-town boys in an unknown group playing cover songs at open mics, but Saskatoon rockers League of Wolves have evolved into a well-respected touring band, playing high energy rock with a purpose. Their hardworking prairie values feed into eminently listenable rock influenced by Kings of Leon and Canadian rocker Sam Roberts.
